🧶 Yarn Over Hook Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for supporting Yarn Over Hook! We’re a small, fiber-loving business powered by made-to-order production and digital craftsmanship. Please review our return and refund policy below, based on the type of product you purchased.

Apparel & Printful-Fulfilled Physical Goods

All physical products (like apparel, totes, mugs, etc.) are made to order and fulfilled by our third-party partner, Printful.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for buyer’s remorse, wrong size selection, or color preference. However, we want to make it right if your item arrives damaged or has a print error.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item is misprinted, damaged, or defective:

  • Please email us at info@yarnoverhook.com within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • Include your order number, a clear photo of the issue, and a brief description.
  • We’ll submit your claim to Printful for review and get back to you with next steps. In most cases, they will reprint and ship a replacement item at no cost to you.

Digital Downloads & Crochet Patterns

Due to the nature of digital products, all digital downloads are final sale.

Once a pattern or template has been purchased and the download link is delivered, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be granted.

Please double-check your cart before purchasing and feel free to reach out if you have questions about a product before completing your order. We’re happy to help!

Gift Cards & Gift Purchases

Gift Cards

Yarn Over Hook gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.

They do not expire and can be used toward any product available on our U.S.-based Shopify store.

Gift cards are delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. Please ensure the email address is entered correctly—we cannot reissue gift cards sent to the wrong recipient due to customer error.

If you’re having trouble locating your gift card email, please reach out to us at info@yarnoverhook.com and we’ll do our best to assist.

Gifts Purchased for Others

If you purchased a physical item as a gift and it arrives damaged or misprinted, we’re happy to help you get a replacement. The same steps apply as noted above:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include the order number and photos of the issue.
  • We’ll handle the Printful claim on your behalf and coordinate a reprint.

Please note that we are not able to offer refunds for digital patterns or templates purchased as gifts.
